1.優質樹脂和玻璃纖維所組成的固體絕緣具有很高的電氣強度(擊穿電壓不小于34kV/mm)， 局部放電量小，可控制在≤5pc范圍內。由于干式變壓器所用的樹脂和玻璃纖維復合絕緣材料在燃燒時產生的熱量極小(約65mJ/kg), 因此具有阻燃自熄的特點。

2.干式變壓器的鐵心用樹脂涂覆，線圈全部被樹脂包封，因此可在空氣相對濕變100%濕度下可靠運行，并具有很高的防腐蝕能力。

3.干式變壓器同時還具有過負荷能力強，熱穩定性好、體積小、重量輕、安裝簡單方便，免維護等優點。
